Our Transition Plans
All updated public and distance learning courses through the APMP have a strong basis in the sixth edition’s material. Originally known as the APM Introductory Certificate, the APM Foundation Qualification retains all original objectives that are found in the fifth edition version. The Association for Project Management has implemented one change, which is the name update of learning objectives to assessment criteria. With the APM currently in the process of updating the IC study guide, Parallel Project Training will offer the updated guide to users once it is available.
With plans to withdraw all fifth edition qualification material by the end of December, Parallel Project Training will allow students who have not taken the qualification exam by the end of the year to upgrade to the latest version by paying £50 (plus VAT). This fee will help cover any e-learning package costs that are associated with the new book and admin.
